What you`ll do

We are seeking a skilled AI Architect that can navigate us through the onboarding, setup, and running of the M365 Copilot solution. As an AI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our collaboration, productivity, and automation landscape by leveraging the power of  Copilot.

As the M365 Copilot Architect at SAP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and strategizing the adoption and scalability across our internal userbase. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the education & understanding of Copilot’s capabilities, working hand in hand with the business to map use cases and user journeys to elegant AI solutions. Your expertise will enable us to leverage the full potential of the AI-assisted M365 suite, thus driving efficiency gains, in time, quality and productivity across the company

Participation in roundtables with partners and customers, sharing and taking learnings about the Copilot journey is key. You will also understand the intricacies around Security, Ethics, Data Privacy, and Social Partners with the broad usage of AI, and specifically Copilot across the Enterprise. What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a software architect, technical lead, or similar role, with a focus on software development and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in programming languages commonly used in your organization (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, user journeys, and use cases related to collaboration, productivity, and automation in the workplace
  • Previous experience in AI, machine learning, or natural language processing is a plus. A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies is a must.

Your contribution

  • As a member of the Data Services team, you will work on the core application underlying ifap’s products, the pharmaceutical data processing system.
  • You will develop new data processing applications in Python and PostgreSQL
  • To ensure the system’s sustainability, you will rewrite legacy applications with above technologies.
  • You will improve observability and data quality to ensure timely delivery of the latest, high quality pharmaceutical data to physicians and other customers.
  • Finally, as our developers are responsible for the execution of their data processing applications, you will have a chance to get hands-on experience with the Argo-suite of tools and Kubernetes.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated track record of at least 10 years in developing software solutions in a professional setting, with a strong emphasis on backend or data-centric development
  • Profound comprehension of both functional and object-oriented programming paradigms, as well as a commitment to writing clean code
  • Proven experience in conceptualizing comprehensive solutions, evaluating architectural trade-offs, and documenting system designs
  • A passion for collaborative teamwork and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Fluent spoken and written English (CEFR B2 or higher) is a must.

Your Tasks

  •   You drive and support shaping our AI strategy including the development of a scalable product and service offering
  • You introduce new GenAI frameworks and tools with proper change management and a sustainable guidance of our departments and employees
  • You help our business to identify use cases for AI features, tools, solutions or frameworks and evaluate their impact to justify further activities
  • You design generic AI frameworks & architectures for custom AI solutions together with our Platform and engineering teams
  • You monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of AI solutions and provide recommendations for improvement
  • You communicate and present findings, insights and solutions to the stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
  • You drive AI literacy and data culture with proper engaging methods and adoption frameworks

Your Profile

  •  Qualification: 
    • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related field
    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in AI and analytics, preferably in a consulting role
    • Proven track record of delivering successful AI projects and solutions for various clients and industries
    • Certifications or credentials in AI and analytics, such as Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer etc. (optional but preferred)
  • Experience and Know-how: 
    • Strong knowledge and experience in AI and analytics, including various AI technologies, tools, frameworks and cloud platforms
    • Ability to design, develop and deploy AI solutions that are scalable, reliable and ethical
    • Ability to apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity to address business challenges and opportunities
  • Languages: English.
